This week in dance - get out and enjoy yourself! 



• Quickstep group class (intermediate to advanced) on Wednesday night at 8:00 pm.
• Tango group class on Thursday night at 7:00 - beginners, dancers of any skill level are welcome!
• East Coast Swing group class on Thursday night at 8:00 - beginner/intermediate.

This upcoming Saturday is Saturday Night Ballroom at Georgetown West night, with an East Coast Swing pattern taught prior to the dance party! Come with an appetite, we'll be serving pulled pork! Delicious.
You do not need a dance partner to join us in any class or at any event - both couples and singles are welcome. We'd love to see you there!

NEW Tango Class Starting in October!

Join us for TANGO beginning October 2 at 7:00!

This newly-added class is open to everyone. You do not need any prior dance experience, and both couples & singles are welcome. 

Vito will begin with the basics and then move on to patterns and styling tips that will make your Tango look smooth and polished. He keeps it lighthearted and fun and the steps you learn (American style Tango) are universally recognized, and can be used anywhere the Tango is danced.

October Schedule

October is going to be a fun-filled month for Just Dance! East Coast Swing and Quickstep will remain on the schedule. Feel free to join in! 

We're adding beginner TANGO on Thursday nights at 7:00 - we'll be starting with the basics, so you don't need any prior dance experience to join this class.

Both couples and singles are welcome in all group classes.

Look what relative beginners can do!

Wow! They look great! We can get you to the point where you're confident dancing anywhere in no time. 

But the best part is, you'll enjoy the process. 

This is the most enthusiastic group of people! They look like they are working hard, but they cheer, applaud and laugh every time they get the steps right. We're having a great time enjoying this lively dance and the music that goes along with it. You have to experience it to find out. Details about upcoming group classes are available on our website:

You don't need any prior dance experience to join this class. You can come with a partner, or on your own. The only thing required is a desire to get out and have a good time!

Ladies Sweatshirts

Hello ladies,

With the cooler weather approaching, I am going to place an order for the first-ever Just Dance apparel for us girls!

I'll be ordering a full zip hooded sweatshirt. I (somewhat loosely) borrowed some creative inspiration from a very well-known Paris fashion house and came up with this design. I hope you like it!

	The hoodie itself is 95% cotton 5% Spandex. I ordered a sample to take a look. It is very soft and lightweight with a little bit of stretch added by the Spandex. The sleeve is narrow, so if you like yours comfy and oversized like several of you have already mentioned to me, I'd order a size up.  It is available in sizes Small, all the way up to XXX Large.
It will feature this Just Dance logo in gold thread in front.
	On the opposite side, at the bottom of the sleeve, it will have the Chinese character for the word "dance" also embroidered in gold. Thanks to Angela for the excellent suggestion that we use this symbol!
Near the collar, there will be a Just Dance metal diestruck pin. It's visible in the picture at the top of the page. That gives you a better perspective of the location. Of course, if you don't like it in that spot, you can always move it :)
	Next to that, there will be a small button-style pin with dancers and the names of many of the popular ballroom dances.

The price is $40

If you don't care for black, It is also available in wine and olive.

Ballroom City - September 27

Our Ballroom City regulars know, for years now, we have hosted our monthly dance on the third Saturday of every month. It's Vito's regular time slot. For the month of September ONLY - Ballroom City has notified us of a schedule change. We'll be there on Saturday, September 27th instead.  

There will be a Bolero lesson that night, great music, dance and the usual good times! 

Hope you can make it! We'll be back to the regular schedule in October with a pre-Halloween dance. More to come on that as the date approaches...

Quickstep Class Starts Wednesday, September 17 at 8:00 pm

Quickstep group class taught by Vito Magrone starts Wednesday, September 17 at 8:00 pm. We’ll begin with a four-week session. If the group decides to continue, we will do so, possibly throughout the month of October.

Quickstep is considered one of the more advanced ballroom dances. Prior dance experience is strongly recommended, but no previous Quickstep experience is necessary. If you’ve never done Quickstep before, Vito will teach the basics before moving on to stylish patterns. He’ll also give tips to make your Quickstep appear smooth and effortless. Both couples and singles are welcome.
