What's New in June

June with Vito looks like it's going to be a great time... don't miss out.

The class schedule has been released! It is available here

We have American TANGO on Thursday nights at 8:00!

Really, the Tango needs no introduction. Sleek, beautiful, exotic. It's no wonder it is one of the most popular. Just for fun, I've embedded a few short video clips here. Hope they make you smile.

Here's Al Pacino as the blind Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade dancing the Tango in the 1992 film Scent of a Woman to the b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l Por una Cabeza, originally by the legendary Carlos Gardel. The tune is one of my personal favorites.

Here's one that always makes me LOL. This is Anjelica Huston as Morticia Addams and the late Raul Julia as Gomez dancing the Tango in Addams Family Values:

This last clip is Fred and Ginger in a short Tango scene from the 1936 film Swing Time:

Continuity Foxtrot will continue on Thursday evenings in June at 7:00.
Advanced class will continue on Tuesday evenings in June at 8:00.

We will start new patterns in both of the above. If you didn't attend in May but are interested in joining, you're more than welcome. You won't have missed a beat (pun intended).

Our next Georgetown dance is also coming up! Join us Saturday, June 7 for a Waltz group lesson with Vito. We'll be serving up some delicious Summer-themed fare and dancing the night away!

On Saturday, June 21, Vito will be at Ballroom City. Get the details for that here.

See you soon!
