Vito, DJ Sandia and the whole gang will be back at Ballroom City on Saturday, March 21st. That's going to be a fun one! Foxtrot Don't miss Vito Magrone's monthly appearance as host at Ballroom City! Vito, one of BRC's most popular pro hosts, will be teaching a stylish Foxtrot pattern prior to the dance. Can't beat that - Foxtrot is arguably one of the most versatile and popular of all dances. Not to mention that Foxtrot music is so much fun to listen to! But that's not all - we have a fun theme in March - a hat party! Hats are optional, of course. But if you have one you'd like to wear, get in the spirit, put on your favorite fedora, sombrero, beanie, Kentucky Derby, cowboy topper or whatever you've got - and come out and dance! We'll have prizes for the best hats. The Foxtrot group lesson starts at 7:30 and the dance begins at 8:00. We'll be playing a mix of all your ballroom favorites: Waltz, Tango, Swing, Cha Cha, Salsa, Hustle, Samba, Rumba... Foxtrot (of course) and more... sounds like a fabulous one. Hi all,

Due to the extremely cold temperatures, the student cancellations started pouring in early this afternoon for dance class this evening. It appears that people are home sick, or not in the mood to venture out in the cold tonight. Can't blame them!!!  

So, we will postpone until next week. We will miss seeing you! 

Hope to see you all at Ballroom City this Saturday night! We're going to have a great time with our Mardi Gras celebration and learning the Samba!!!

It's a Mardi Gras Celebration!

Fat Tuesday marks the beginning of Mardi Gras! We're going to celebrate "Nawlins" style with a very festive dance at Ballroom City on Saturday, February 21.

Vito will teach an awesome Samba pattern. We think you'll love it After that, though the theme is Mardi Gras, make no mistake - this is a ballroom dance party - we will still be playing all of your favorites - Waltz, Tango, Cha Cha, Swing, Rumba, Hustle, Foxtrot and much more... 

Y'all come out and join us! It's going to be a GREAT time!

VALENTINE'S DAY ❤

Join Vito at Dance World! Support this worthy organization, dedicated to promoting health and wellness through ballroom dancing - and have a wonderful time while doing so! 

What better way to spend Valentine's Day than with this fun and friendly crowd, dancing the night away after learning a fabulous Cha Cha pattern and munching on delicious sweets provided by Dance World's members. Both couples and singles are welcome - no sweetheart required here - all you need is your two dancing feet! It's going to be a divine time!!!

February is going to be a superb month ❤
We have a dance this Saturday night at Georgetown West in Wood Dale. Hope you can join in the fun! Vito will be teaching a lovely Tango pattern, followed by a festive evening of delicious food, great music, fabulous dancing and wonderful friends.



Group Classes

Beginner/Newcomer Group Class is Thursdays in Feburary at 8:00 beginning Thursday, February 5 -- everyone is welcome in this class! Yes, even those with two left feet :) The dance we'll be learning is TBA - we are leaving it up to the dancers in this class, but we're leaning toward either Salsa or Cha Cha, so either way it's going to be great!

Intermediate Tango will be taking place on Thursdays during February at 7:00pm

Advanced Viennese Waltz is Wednesdays at 8:00, starting TONIGHT. Give us a call if you'd like to attend.

Additional Dates

Vito will be at Dance World in Hoffman Estates on Valentine's Day! Is there a better way to spend the evening? Great dancing, tasty sweets, and you'll be supporting a wonderful not-for-profit organization that promotes health and wellness through ballroom dancing. Vito will be teaching Cha Cha Cha.



Later in the month, on Saturday the 21st, we'll be celebrating Mardi Gras at Ballroom City! We're looking forward to this colorful celebration! We'll be learning a Samba pattern prior to the dance.

Saturday Night Ballroom - Valentine Dance and TANGO Lesson

Next up on our calendar is going to be a fun one! Join us Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Georgetown West for our Valentine's version of the monthly Saturday Night Ballroom dance. 

               

Vito will be teaching Tango from 7:30-8:00. From 8:00 on we'll play all your ballroom faves - Waltz, Tango (of course), Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Rumba, Foxtrot and much more...

Delicious light buffet and refreshments will be served. Spacious and comfortable floor. Both couples and singles are welcome, as well as dancers of every skill level - newcomer to advanced. Free lot parking.
