May Class Schedule

The group class schedule for the month of May is out now!

FOXTROT:
Thursday Evenings in May at 7:00 PM at Georgetown West
Starts Thursday, May 1, 2014

Discover why Foxtrot is one of the most versatile and popular dances. From the Big Band era to the Rat Pack to Dancing With The Stars, Foxtrot’s flowing movement makes it eternally cool. During this four-week session, Vito Magrone will cover Foxtrot basics, teach stylish patterns and give technique tips that will make you look smooth and polished. He will make it easy and fun. No prior dance experience is necessary for this beginner class.

SAMBA:
Thursday Evenings in May at at 8:00 PM at Georgetown West
Starts Thursday, May 1, 2014
By popular demand! The students have spoken, and so Samba it is! Sultry, spicy, and fun! You will love everything about the Samba, from the steps to the Tropical feel of the music. We’ll start from the beginning and review. Then, we’ll move on from there. Dancers of every skill level are welcome.

ADVANCED CLASS:
Starts Tuesday, May 6, 2014

Experienced dancers, if you have never attended the advanced class on Tuesday nights, it truly is a gem. You really might want to consider stopping by. It's a wonderful, friendly group of dancers (many of whom you probably already know from the dance community), who have been coming to this class for years. Why? Quite simply, we're having a great time... and learning a great deal while we're at it. Because it is advanced, the class itself is truly a collaborative, creative effort. We take a vote at the beginning of each month, and the group decides which dance we'll work on. The material is Silver/Continuity and above. Vito teaches patterns and give each person individual attention. He focuses on technique to make you look great, and he doesn't move on until everyone is feeling comfortable. You'd have to ask the dancers, but I get the feeling everyone gets a ton out of this class. What could be better?
