We're Going Green in March!

Friends of Vito's have generously offered to cater our March Saturday Night Ballroom dance with Irish-themed munchies. So, we'll kick of the month of St. Patrick's day by going green. Delicious!

The dance is Saturday, March 5. 

Vito will be teaching the group an awesome nightclub two step pattern from 7:30-8:00. Come on by for the group class - you'll love it!

Stay for the social dancing: Swing, Foxtrot, Salsa, Rumba, Hustle, Cha Cha, Waltz, and much more... starting at 8:00.

This is a friendly, fun dance in a large venue with a spacious and comfortable floor, hosted by the talented and charismatic Vito. Both couples and singles, as well as dancers of every skill level (newcomer to advanced) are welcome.

Vito at Dance World

Vito will be at Dance World this Saturday night! 

This just in from the Dance World Board of Directors: "We are pleased to announce the return of the talented and charismatic Vito Magrone to Dance World in Feburary. Vito, a former Latin dance champion, and one of the area's top instructors, will be teaching Rumba from 7:30-8:30. After that, we will play all your ballroom and Latin favorites for social dancing all evening.

$8 members / $13 non-members. Pay at the door. The lesson, dancing and refreshments are all included. Parking is free. Both couples and singles, as well as dancers of every skill level (newcomer to advanced) are all welcome to join the fun. Open to the commuinity. Dance World© is a not-for-profit membership-based organization promoting all forms of dance, including but not limited to Ballroom, Latin, Hustle and Swing. The club promotes exposure to dance education and provides a safe and enjoyable social atmosphere."

Tango Group Class - THURSDAY NIGHT!

Hello, friend!

We've got a truly lovely evening planned for this upcoming Saturday night, February 6. During the group lesson, join me for a classy and timeless tango step you'll want to dance forever! The group class begins at 7:30. After that, from 8:00 on, we'll have open social dancing, with all your favorites, with DJ Sandia. She'll play a mix of Tango (of course!), Waltz, Swing, Salsa, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha and more. I hope you can make it, and if you do, I know you will absolutely be glad you did!

And speaking of Tango, we do have a group class beginning tomorrow night (February 4) at Just Dance Studios at Georgetown West. Everyone is welcome! The class takes place throughout the month of February on Thursday evenings at 8:00. I'll will go over the basic tango step, and then teach you patterns and give you pointers to make your tango look smooth and polished. I'll be teaching American style - so you will learn steps you can dance with any partner, wherever you go. A real bargain at $40 per person for the entire month. You can pay in person the first night of class or register online.

All of our events are open to the community, no prior dance experience is necessary and our group is made up of a mix of both couples and singles.

Our February Dance - it's TANGO taught by Vito, followed by a social dance party this Saturday night at Saturday Night Ballroom, our monthly dance at Just Dance Studios at Georgetown West. We will have delicious snacks, great music and dancing, a friendly crowd, and so much more. The lesson starts promptly at 7:30. Dancing begins at 8:00. Hope to see YOU there!
